Katie has been working for Teignbridge CVS since 2005 in a number of different roles including Volunteer Centre Coordinator, Community Development worker and currently as Learning and Development Manager. She has been delivering training and facilitating forums, networks and organisational away days for many years and has qualifications in NOCN Level 3 Award in Education and Training, Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement and Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment. She is the internal verifier for the Teignbridge CVS NOCN accredited courses and leads on the delivery of a number of NHS and Devon County Council training programmes for the voluntary and community sector across Devon. She believes a strength based approach is crucial to effective support and learning
In her other life she is a performer, a singer, an avid dog walker and book reader and she also has a qualification as a doula; supporting women through the birthing process.
