Elaine has been a Community Development worker and QA assessor with Teignbridge CVS since 2019. Her focus is connecting with and supporting the voluntary sector with their support for families and mental wellbeing projects. Part of this work is through facilitating forums that support collaborative working within these themes and the development of creative ways of meeting the needs of communities.
Elaine has 25 plus years of experience of working to provide better opportunities for communities and specifically families, having been a manager of Action for Children Children’s Centres for many years. Elaine is trained in solution focused therapy and is a professional coach.
Elaine takes an active interest in her community and has been a community centre trustee, and is currently a volunteer within her village. In her spare time Elaine enjoys painting, printmaking, walking and cycling
