This face to face session will cover:
- Understanding racism and white privilege – white privilege is reinforced in all aspects of everyday life, and understanding and unravelling it is a constant process of learning and changing behaviours.
- The importance of allyship – supporting the understanding of what it means to be a white ally and give examples of positive actions that we can take to combat racism.
- Exploring microaggressions – what they are and their impact and how to appropriately challenge microaggressions that we witness
- Tools to help create a more inclusive workplace culture.
This will be an interactive face to face training at the Courtney Centre, Newton Abbot, with parking available.
Each attendee will receive a certificate from the Racial Equality Council
