Originally from Germany, Anja has a qualification in youth oriented social work (Dipl. Soz. Päd.), a CELTA qualification and an NOCN Level 3 Awards in Education and Training and in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement.
Anja has been working for Teignbridge CVS since 2009, starting out as the Volunteer Centre Coordinator. She has many years’ experience in community development work and teaching and training people of different ages, abilities and backgrounds in anything from circus skills to ESOL and Volunteer Management. Anja’s passion is developing and delivering relevant and engaging courses enabling learners to develop their skills in a supportive environment. ” I also feel very strongly about enabling people to take an active part in their local community and enabling groups to affect change.”
